Malcom began his career like many others: a guitar from the Sears Christmas catalogue and a desire to play loud rock and roll music.
While spending the next decade honing his craft and touring the country he eventually began producing indie bands out of his bedroom studio. Using a trial and (mostly) error method he eventually produced work of enough quality to catch attention of Zak Cohen (Owner and Founder of The Woodshop Recording Studio), who then offered Malcom an apprenticeship at his studio. Since then Malcom has become an accomplished producer in his own right and is actively producing, mixing, and engineering some of the best talent Canada has to offer.
At the same time Malcom was building the musical connections that would eventually result in the formation of a rock band that would change his life: Band of Rascals. This band would go on to be a major contender in the North American music scene and is currently set to release a new LP this coming year with Producer Eric Ratz (Big Wreck, Arkells, Cancer Bats, Thornley..).
Currently Malcom resides in the Cowichan Valley where he spends his time working with Band of Rascals and as a producer at both The Woodshop Recording Studios (Cowichan) and Infiniti Studios (Victoria).
